Whether you have four people or forty; five days or just one; a need to build a team, or to give a break from a grueling conference - we can help you create an innovative programme to meet all your needs. Here are three ideas (the options are endless).
| | |
| Four day conference with a day's sailing | | Three days inside, taking in new information and solving problems, can be very taxing. If you add an extra day, your team can take a break from the conference and refresh themselves on board a boat. This introduces team building and change to your more formal sessions. Day three is a good day to do it - to clear the mind before tackling the final- day issues.
WE CAN ARRANGE:
the boats and sailing program
sailing masters for tuition
team uniforms with your company logo (polo shirts, polar fleece vests, caps, etc)
trophies for the winners
accommodation
conference facilities
meals
and anything else you may need
THE SAILING DAY:
morning session - safety briefing, boat briefing and sailing tuition, including practice of racing techniques and assigning individual roles
lunch, followed by race briefing
afternoon yacht race started and marshalled by our experienced team
presentation of trophies
SOME EXTRAS:
if your team is interested in the Lakes' environment, we can arrange an evening speaker
if they're interested in art, we can arrange a visit to a very special artists' studio
if they'd like to include golf or tennis or swimming or gym . . . we can arrange these activities, too

| Three days sailing to build a team | | This is best for a small group - say four people on each of three or four boats. Participants live on board the boats, work together to develop sailing skills, and get together socially in the evenings. We provide the boats, tuition, and provisioning.
A SAMPLE ITINERARY
DAY ONE: learn to sail in the morning with a sailing master on each boat, then practise the new skills on sheltered waters in the afternoon, with one sailing master on hand to give advice. In the evening, moor at Metung Jetty for dinner at the hotel, and spend the night on board the boats.
DAY TWO: a full day of sailing with the Riviera Nautic 'nautical pursuit' competition that requires concentration on navigation to answer questions and find the evening's mooring. Finish at one of the national park jetties with a barbecue dinner.
DAY THREE: Refine sailing skills and teamwork in preparation for an afternoon race back to Riviera Nautic.

| Combining sailing with on-shore accommodation | | | Depending on your team, not everyone wants to sleep on board the boats, so we can easily arrange on-shore accommodation for each evening, after an invigorating day sailing. You may also wish to include formal meetings - we can arrange conference facilities to fit in with your sailing itinerary. | | |
